The TJ, as nice as it was, had it’s limitations. Having come to the conclusion that I had never seen a Hearse with a U-Haul behind it, I left my house one morning in the TJ, and returned home a few hours later with a brand new 2015 Jeep Rubicon 4 Door. I asked Mel what he had in mind for it, and if he had anything I could test drive that was built like he proposed to equip my new Jeep. Within 5 minutes, I was behind the wheel of EVO Lander, of their creations. I previously had my own auto restoration shop, three and a half years driving race cars, and fly corporate Jets for a living, so I am not easily impressed. I found myself amazed at the handling of this highly modified creation I was so fortunate to be driving. I never thought something that big and that high could handle like a sports car, but it did just that. Wow!
With only 813 miles on my new Jeep, I left it with Mel and his gang for several days. Since then, I have yet to climb into my Jeep without a smile on my face. Being new at the off road thing, I have been quite regularly amazed at what my Off Road Evolution creation will do, but there was more to come.
I was fortunate enough to be invited along on the JK Experience, 7 days of hardcore offloading and an incredible road trip. It was some of the most challenging off road driving in the country. I felt like a high school quarterback playing with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but adult supervision got me thru, thanks again to Mel and his gang. I had no idea my Jeep could really do. It was a real bucket list experience, the time of my life. Great equipment, great people, great time, an awesome way to see America!”

“I am constantly asked for my opinion on after market upgrades for my JK concerning suspension, lift kits, body armor, rock sliders, axles, bumpers, roll cage, skid plates and other off road products. My response is usually “if it is built by Off Road Evolution you will be happy with it.” Of course the response is usually “why?” to which I reply quality. Off Road Evolution does extreme R&D testing whether Dynatrac axles, King coil over shocks, KMC wheels or EVO Manufacturing Bumpers, Rock Sliders, Body Armor, Roll Cage or Skid Plates, they put it all through hard core use. Bottom line, their builds and products they support are proven.”
